I consider myself a UBI sceptic at best, but if we were to give it a go, the agricultural sector is absolutely the place to start. Just make sure to combine it with a sound welfare state as well, so that their kids are given free schooling and health care regardless of how the parents decide to spend their UBI money.
Because parents who don’t “need” UBI money never allocate their resources irresponsibly?
I respectfully submit your bias is showing.
This is an odd approach to take. I’ve never seen UBI put forward as a way to remove public education or existing health care systems. If you really want to see the outcomes you can read the results of the various studies that have been done.
