Human embryos have lizard hand muscles that disappear before birth

And some people have lizard brains even after birth.

That struck me as wrong as well. Charitably (for I usually view myself beneath the writer), I wanted to believe that was another descriptor for the muscles, rather than an alternate term for appearing and disappearing. Not clear writing either way.

I always suspected this phrase gave Troglodytes troglodytes a bad name. Now I am sure.

Pretty much everyone does. I suspect people born without one don’t live very long.

That’s your genome, my friend - full of all kinds of surprises, as it recapitulates the structures of the entire group of major phyla in the developing embryo.

Just don’t say this out loud in church.

Apparently I have one.

Is it helpful for any of the more common secret handshakes?

I’m currently in the process of removing various Junk DNA from my portfolio site.

To a prospective client, Intelligent Design looks way cooler than Darwinian Evolution.

Turtles are reptiles; maybe you were thinking of Newt?

And there’s nothing wrong with being a little MOlST.
