Carbon fiber is no more “organic” than coal, pencil lead, or diamond. Carbon is remarkably versatile, isn’t it?
I was surprised that carbon fiber on metal goes “clink,” like metal or hard wood. I was expecting more of a plasticky sound. I need to actually handle some of the stuff.
I gather the problem is that carbon in that form is inert. Carbon splinters or carbon dust can’t be shifted by the body’s processes.
