I’m a middle-aged man who grew up on jazz, reggae and then heavy metal, hardcore and noise rock, and then hip-hop and industrial. I have no idea why I like 100gecs. I discovered them by accident because the company that makes the headphones [SkullCandy] I found at the university I teach curated a show with them and their performance blew me away (Stupid Horse was the song).
Can’t stop listening to them.
My 22-year young son scratches his head wondering ‘Why, Dad, why?’ I.Have.No.Clue.
It’s like ear candy I guess.
