Yeah thatās the one, and itās soul crushing. I was not warned. I think itās worth watching but i canāt imagine why anyone would want to subject themselves to that amount of sadness. Whenever i describe the plot of the movie to people that havenāt seen it they just Nope.
Pacific Rim was really great, i wasnāt sure how much i would like it and by the end of it i was totally in. I hope the sequel isnāt bad since Del Toro isnāt directing it himself.

The weird thing is that I listened to that sound track for a long time before I ever watched the film, and I really liked it.
Then I watched the film.
Now if I hear the theme my heart starts palpitating and I break out in sweat andā¦ yeah, I mean, itās good for a laugh.

Iām the opposite. I watched the movie, was thoroughly freaked out, and then for a few weeks after, Iād start humming the theme before realizing what it was.
And then the trailer for The Two Towers came out, and that is now and forever what that song will be associated with for me.

Itās worth watching in the same way that Schindlerās List is. Showing you the consequences of war and how people suffered. Thatās why i do think itās an important movieā¦ now would i want to watch it? Hell no.
