And you trust a person whose chief employment is being Crook #4 on a five-person heist crew?
Unless Rob is a shady casino operator i donāt think he has much to worry about.
Looks pretty shady to me.
Someone that photoshops eyes and mouths where they shouldnāt be is inherently shady, but for different reasons.
TFTFY
Pretty frickinā shady.
Oh god and he can vote too.
You could say that no one is safe
Since we decided to revive the safe topic - how are folks protecting their special documents? I used to keep my LONG FORM BIRTH CERTIFICATE in a safe deposit box but considering a home safe.
One concern is I rent so canāt bolt it down so presumably the thief could steal it and crack it at their leisure.
OTOH extra proof may be good since ICe apparently arrested a marine with his passport on him
Anyways letās make this the de facto home (alone style optional) Security thread
Iām glad you picked a party. I used to be independent but when I came to my state I held my nose so I can vote in primaries.
Welcome to America my āredā friend
I use one of those home safes that you technically canāt bolt down. Itās just big enough to fit documents and a few other items (cards, photos from over 50 years ago that truly cannot be replaced). About the size of a large cooler, if you know what I mean by that. It weighs 90 pounds when empty, so you can imagine how immovable it is when full of papers! Waterproof and fireproof. Sitting in the basement, keeping the docs safe. Good enough.
The one wire cutter recs is ~60 lb. Iām eying this absolute unit
Mine is also a Honeywell, but it looks like the larger one shown at your link (they say 80 pounds). Mine is old enough that it looks a little different, but I think thatās the current equivalent. So, yeah, the one youāve picked out seems like a good option!
Maybe inside it I should place a smaller safe, just to be safe
Update: the reason I wanted to purchase a new safe was because I lost the second key to my old safe.
When cleaning my old safe, I found the second key inside (not the best backup location for a safe key hence me losing it)
Still debating a bigger but for now, mission accomplished
This is basically what happened in That Episode of Twilight Zone. You know the oneā¦
Dr. Groeteschele : Who would survive? Thatās an interesting question. I would predict . . . convicts and file clerks. [A male guest laughs.] The worst convicts. Those deep down in solitary confinement. And the most ordinary file clerks. Probably for large insurance companies, because they would be in fire-proof rooms, protected by tons of the best insulator in the world: paper. And imagine what will happen. The small group of vicious criminals will fight the army of file clerks for the remaining means of life. The convicts will know violence, but the file clerks will know organization. Who do thinkāll win? [There is a long pause, and then he laughs.] Itās all hypotheses of course, but fun to play around with.
