I kinda think this tater tot cookbook defines my generation

I’ve been making potato gem (what we call tater tots) casserole for years. Throw the potato gems in a casserole dish, bake until about 2/3 done, throw some frozen vege on top, winter veges are great and then top with savoury lentils. Cover and bake until hot and delicious.

As per my son, tater tots are the one, single, solitary dish that the school cafeteria will not screw up. Apparently they can’t even do grilled toasted cheese sandwiches right.

EDIT: This from a young man who still puts catsup on burgers and hot dogs, but anyway…
