I’m in the southern hemisphere (New Zealand) so just coming into autumn. I’m not actually sure when Monarchs usually show but It feels late in the year for them.

I don’t see them until well into our summer, e.g. sometime in August and into September. We’ll get larvae in the yard and I’ll see the adults here and there. (But that’s just the past couple of years or so, when I’ve been paying attention.)
