Does this app make my LAN look fat?

(I’m still wondering what that Unknown was.)

Looking up 78:67:D7 using Wireshark’s OUI lookup tool indicates that whatever it was, it was an Apple device.

Ah! Probably Sue’s iPhone then. I should keep better track of which devices I’ve given guest access to.

Skynet? No cause for alarm here.

I wish it would develop sentience enough to write its own DDNS client. A very serious and weird omission in Eero’s otherwise stellar package.

Nice. Can you set alerts for when particular nodes go down? (Too familiar with the sound of my Windows PC dropping. I forget what SFX I assigned for my Pi web server.)

Good question. By default it alerts me when it doesn’t recognize a device.

I never noticed them until after the fact (i.e., too late). But yes, the results are as bad or worse than poison ivy.

Hooray we have a muncher (the preferred kind – not a whistle pig nor a deer)! This was in our rue plant, IIRC it’s a black swallowtail larva. No monarchs in the milkweed, yet.

Last year was the first year I really paid attention to the lepidopterans in our yard (also the 1st that the milkweed really grew well). We didn’t get any larvae until August or so. I’m starting to see a few butterflies when I’m out driving etc. Earlier than this week we’ve had various bees & wasps, skippers (I guess? Look like butterflies, but smaller, like moths), hummingbirds and goldfinches. Also a lot of dragonflies or similar.

Unfortunately no one under the age of 30 could read the chalk boards because they were all written in long hand

You know that Neil Gaiman short story about the black cat that fights a demon every night to keep a family safe? Being their silent defender against the terrors of the darkness even though it hurts them, sacrificing themselves for a family they barely know? A strong, loving cat, a warrior for the light if ever there was one?
Well, this is Spike, and he’s just a straight-up asshole.

Gotta love a cat who is honest :smirk:
