Despite its foul smell, it is not poisonous and immature mushrooms are consumed in parts of France and Germany.

Having recently updated my phone, I decided to check to see if I had all the updates installed in my car’s Ford Sync system that talks to my phone.
I logged on to the Ford site, my account displays the correct car model and year, and then it tells me that I should upgrade to the latest Sync 3 version. That can’t be right: It’s a 2011 Fiesta. Sync 3 is apparently a color touchscreen interface, and my Fiesta has a non-touch amber monochrome display. Still, their system has previously kept track of all the patches I’ve installed… Try it and expect it to fail?
I’ve loaded up a USB stick to take out to the car and plug into the USB port, but some of the possible error procedures are scary:
Hope it doesn’t brick my car?

I’m sure there are perfectly safe ways to use an arc welder above (salt?) water, so I’m mostly relaxed about watching video footage of other people doing it.
Would I do it? No, of course not. In most* circumstances, electrocution is still undesirable.
*(some circumstances excluded, of course)
