That seems like a terrible place to have surgery! Why not just have someone sneak in and kick the operating table randomely while the surgeon is making incisions, while you’re at it?

About five years ago there was an interesting book about this incident --Matthew Algeo’s The President Is A Sick Man. I know you might wonder how they managed to get a whole book out of it, but the book talks about Cleveland’s presidency and the state of surgery at the time as well as the actual operation.
