The headline made it sound like he’d been deliberately dumped rather than mischance. (Not unlikely, considering the violence towards homeless.)

I once rescued a raccoon from a dumpster behind my house. I’ve always wondered how often critters get dumped into a truck.

Enough to have killed at least seven people in the UK.
In the last few years, more & more bins here have had warnings like this:
(can’t imagine that really helps much if you’re already desperate enough to sleep in a bin)

Twice around here the last year, I believe. One person died from their injuries. I believe the other was injured, but not nearly as bad.
