If you’re the type of person amenable to the belief that women exist primarily for the sexual gratification of men then exposure to porn probably isn’t going to change that mindset.

This worsens the problem, not improves it. Its not like teenage boys couldn’t masturbate before internet porn. Much of the incel issues are rooted in a extrememly unrealistic image of sex and romantic relations. That their exposure to sex is largely porn movies of attractive young women that do whatever the man wants exacerbates that problem

Really and truly, before the internet porn was much harder to get. It was available, to be sure but not ubiquitous. I mean, how does a kid get porn. Steal it from your parents, if they had any. Find that convenience store clerk who would risk his job to sell a kid a playboy. Or a hand me down (yuk) from an older person. Actually I would not call porn ubiquitous even now but it is easy to acquire.

I would say it’s so ubiquitous that people these days are lazy and entitled about getting it. Unsurprisingly at the same time some people are also becoming lazy and entitled about not getting real sex from real people and/or have so much contempt for people who do have sex with them… So much contempt and entitled rage that they are committing murder in retaliation. Ymmv i guess but I don’t think the bulk of porn as it stands today is helping. People don’t need more porn, they need honest sex education and compassion

Much easier for boys to hide their porn stashes now that it no longer needs physical media. Saves a lot of paranoia for 12-17 year olds.
