Perfect time to get in there and rake those leaves over that overhang.
“The land was angry that day, my friends - like an old man trying to send back soup in a deli.” (George Costanza? )
Huh? Seems like it would be more surprising if the forest were calm and quiet. Maybe I’m reading this wrong.
The wind moved the trees, and the trees moved the forest floor.
Shallow roots in a thin layer of topsoil.
If a tree almost falls in the forest, and you were standing right next to it, what should you do? Take out your camera and film the event to ensure you capture the sound of a falling tree, of course, in case it does fall next to you. Presumably, you can move out of the way in time. ‘Sure’ you said to yourself, ‘it’s a little tree, and I could move very quickly.’ Good luck next time.
Looks like a movie set.
Ent shuffle.
If a tree moves a few metres in a forest, and there is no-one to see it…
That’s the shallowest roots I’ve ever seen on a tree of that girth…
that’s how i imagine the canadian shield.
(from the @theophrastus video)
If you are to risk it, then maybe film it in landscape!!!
That’s what She said…
The layer we call reality is thin in spots.
