I once built a Simon game out of them:
That’s fantastic! My kids love Simon and trampolines!
Hey thanks! I’ve been meaning to make another incarnation, maybe for this year’s Maker Faire. Its a super fun programming riddle and I’d love to update it so it runs on a Chip.
Have you ever seen a sign or an ad asking for “Clean Fill”?
People are always looking for some good dirt.
How are insurance companies all over trampolines but swimming pools, hot tubs, and the like are ok?
I want to try the massive underground one in north wales…
My neighbor had a in-ground trampoline … surrounded by concrete (keeps the soil in place?)
You can imagine what later happened before the trampoline was finally removed
Years ago, after moving to the Bay Area, I was invited down to visit a branch of my mother’s family that ended up in Salinas and got very, very rich. I felt way out of place and kind of numbly followed an elderly aunt and eerily familiar-looking cousins as they walked around their huge property.
At one point we walked past . . . one of those things. "Huh, I thought, why did they put an in-ground hot tub way out in the middle of the lawn?"
Then my cousins’ kids began bouncing on the “cover” of “hot tub.”
This did not help me feel less out of place.
Sorry, I can’t help myself. I will just quietly leave this sitting here:
Now stop having fun, kids!
One of my daughter’s friends held her sweet 16 party at one of those. I thought it was the best idea for a sweet 16 party ever. I love her friends.
PhotoBoof guy! You have taken some of my favorite pictures of me.
Alternatively, you could have your whole house be a trampoline.
Bonus: You get to live in a castle!
Ha! Awesome and thanks!
because insurance execs love swimming pools and hot tubs?
