“Taper trees” were a great way to get shows, but the Internet Archives’ collection of Grateful Dead material is beyond compare. All thanks to the ongoing support of Bob Weird and Mickey Hart.

Many GD shows have been pulled from the archive because somebody decided to commercialize them. I used to think the archive would keep everything intact but alas not so.
Lesson learned is that if you find something on the archive that you can’t live without download it.
