This… is a surprisingly interesting movie… one of those intentionally schlocky films that has some surprisingly good points about it.

I was thoroughly entertained. Just don’t expect anything and it’s great.

You know what would be great… one of those ā€œPhilosophy ofā€¦ā€ books, but for like, schlocky cinema and TV…

Well there is this book but it isn’t really a philosophy lite kind of thing.

You know what line of books I mean, though, right? Philosophy of the Simpsons, Philosophy of the Sopranos… Star Wars and Philosophy, Seinfeld and Philosophy, breaking bad Woody Allen, Lord of the Rings, etc. I mean, why not a Philosophy of Uwe Boll? Or Philosophy of Troma or something? [ETA] The more I think about it, the more I’d be all over the Philosophy of Troma, actually.

Does no one remember ā€œSupertrainā€?

That’s actually been done as that’s is pretty much the philosophy of the studio.

Oh! I’d totally forgotten about that book…

I saw one at the Planes of Fame museum in Chino, CA. They have some great oddities like that one, including a Japanese licensed knock-off of the ME-163 Komet and their solid rocket launched-from-a-bomber flying bombs.

I used to have a desk with a view of Paine Field and got to see these guys do their ME262 test flights.

Anybody remember ZAMBONI HAWKS??

I swear their cheesy promo ad always looked like something that was put together by some no-talent hack in MS Paint in like 15 minutes…

I would have posted directly, but the generators on this thing play hell with reception:

I should be back home in a couple of years…
