Supposedly the Meters composed “Look A Py Py” by singing along to their car’s engine misfiring.

Wonder how the wipers would sync up with stuff in odd time signatures. I guess just be off-beat every other measure.

We’ll see what Dave Brubeck has to say about this!

I seem to recall a car commercial (Nissan?) some years ago where the wipers were in sync with background music of the commercial itself.

(Not sure this qualifies as prior art as this was likely a post-production effect with the background audio.)

You beat me to it.

Exactly what I thought of right away (which I guess Volkswagen would be happy to hear)

My car will speed up the wiper delay when accelerating. That’s mildly annoying while also useful.

How about speeding up or slowing down the music to sync with the wipers?

Looks like there’s at least one patent on something like this already:

I need a way to sync up the flashing of my turn signal with that of the car in front of mine. I drives me nuts when they are blinking at different frequencies.
