Think about it though – why would Bill Gates want to secretly track horses?
Ethernet over horsehair.
Copper sulfate worked great for clearing tree roots out of my drain line.
It must be good for people! I’ll bet it’ll clean your colon right out.
Don’t you see!! He’s using 5G signals to remote control the horses. The vaccines are a front to rig the Kentucky Derby!!!
Anyone seen Fred?
Aw, get off your high horse.
I really need to get a hold of that movie and watch it.
Lawyer voiceover:
For the love of all that is good and decent in the universe, if you have tree roots on your colon please contact a courageous arborist immediately!

That’s the combination of my suitcase. /s
Was it really that long ago?
Maybe a metallic tinge from the copper and cobalt?
On the XKCD archive page you can hover over the link to a comic to see when it was published. “Password Strength” was posted 2011-8-10. [The first 44 are listed as being published 2006-1-1, so maybe that was when they were first published on the current site?]
It says “Veterinarian tested”, so if it’s safe for them, it should be …
It’s interesting how much of the convenience beverage shelf is full of drinks you really shouldn’t drink (and food you shouldn’t food), it’s not great to find other likely unhealthy options at the feed store.
You had better hurry up. It’s already gone from satire to prophecy. Any longer and it will be a documentary.
The electrolytes and carbs are essential without which the exercise could be lethal.

I was going through old math/sketching graph paper notebooks and didn’t want to lose some of the work in them, so I started scanning pages. I took the more comic-y ones and put them up on a server I was testing out, and got a bunch of readers when BoingBoing linked to me. I started drawing more seriously, gained a lot more readers, started selling t-shirts on the site, and am currently shipping t-shirts and drawing this comic full-time. It’s immensely fun and I really appreciate y’all’s support.

September 30 2005 looks to be the earliest that any xkcd comic was uploaded to the internet
Day 5: Today I can run faster than ever, but have a strong urge to bite people and kick them.
Day 6: I may have overdone on the running thing yesterday. My feet hurt. Laminitis? Getting tested for Cushing’s while I’m at it. My Coggins test from Day 4 is negative.
Day 7: A bit jumpy. I saw a flag fluttering in the wind just by the fire station and I bolted for the barn. Weird. But fast! I should check my times.
