Does Lindsey Graham know how small Gaza is? Ignoring the obvious reasons why nuking anywhere is a bad idea, it is impossible to nuke Gaza without casualties and damage in Israel and Egypt.

He probably believes in the magical, mythical, neutron bomb.

Maybe he realises nobody but his own nutjobs pay any attention to what he says and is just performing for the cruelty party.

Well, all non-Christians are going to die in the Battle of Armageddon anyway.

“What kick-starts the end times into motion is Israel’s political boundaries being reestablished to what God promised the Israelites according to the Bible,” Nate Pyle, a pastor and author of a book about Jesus, told Newsweek.

Efficiency and progress is ours once more
Now that we have the neutron bomb
It’s nice and quick and clean and gets things done
Away with excess enemy
But no less value to property
No sense in war but perfect sense at home

UN:

Statement attributable to the Spokesperson for the Secretary-General – on a security incident in Gaza

The Secretary-General was deeply saddened to learn of the death of a United Nations Department of Safety and Security (DSS) staff member and injury to another DSS staffer when their UN vehicle was struck as they traveled to the European Hospital in Rafah this morning.

The Secretary-General condemns all attacks on UN personnel and calls for a full investigation. He sends his condolences to the family of the fallen staff member.

With the conflict in Gaza continuing to take a heavy toll – not only on civilians, but also on humanitarian workers – the Secretary-General reiterates his urgent appeal for an immediate humanitarian ceasefire and for the release of all hostages.

I was hoping this would appear in the guardian or other “reputable” english media but…

Summary follows:
Hundreds of Barcelona University (UB) students strike and protest for Palestina. Among other actions taken, they’ve “occupied” the main UB building, have organized several demonstrations (today’s one is one of the biggest, and is part of a coordinated effort in conmmemoration of the “nakba”).

So far, the UB has proposed a motion of support for a formal break of relationships with Israel until they stop the genocide, but students, whose noses are cleaner, smelt the bullshit a mile away and said that they will keep the camp and protests until the motion of support becomes a real formal break.

Autonomous University of Catalunya (UAB) students have joined the protests which is a very positive development.

ETA I want to point the university governing body (the “claustre”) has been nothing short of supportive. The Rector has personally said “The University of Barcelona cannot remain indifferent to what is happening in Palestina. […] The response has to be both of humanitarian and academic compromise nature”. Finally, he assured they “don’t want to be accessories to any kind of vulneration of human rights” and that this has been the case since the beginning of the conflic, in which he stated “he absolutely rejects and denounces the aggression”.

Being a public university, they are bringing their case to the Generalitat (Catalonia’s Govermental Body) to ask for a formal break of relations and for the Generalitat to formally petition Israel for a permanent ceasefire at Gaza"

So my mistake. Is not the students smelt the bullshit. Is the faculty saying the students this is a good tool to pressure the higher ups.

Also disclaimer: my mother is Vicedean on the UB so is not like I’m exactly partial
