Isn’t this due to fluid moving around the discs in the back? I know I read or heard somewhere that people can grow almost a half inch in height while sleeping due to the fluid moving around as such. I guess micro-gravity just does the same thing right?

Well, I was kind of thinking the Future Patient might be already in an environment where zero-G was available, or was going for an upgrade rather than a repair. But yes, good point I should have noted.
