This commercial gave me a cavity.
A friend of mine from high school once hallucinated he was the Snuggle bear when he was in bed recovering from some illness. I can’t remember if he had the flu or if he was on painkillers but I can definitely see where he was coming from, tangled up in quilts and sheets.
I think this looks just like the US commercial.
That damned bear always freaked me out.
It lasted until I saw Ted.
Then I watched this clip and it all came rushing back! Aaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhh!!!
I prefer this version:
I forgot about that one! Snuggle had a much better fate there than in the Robot Chicken sketch. Those guys have issues.
My niece had a Snuggle plushie. You could get them by mail order from Snuggle.
If I didn’t know better I’d be fooled into thinking the Japanese snuggle bear voice actor was the same as the voice actor for Chiyo-chan from Azumanga.
We had these ads in Australia for Huggie Softener…
Not to be confused with this guy.
Still “kawai” is its in German?
If I remember correctly, it was one of those “send in so many UPC codes, and a bit of $ to cover shipping” deals.
Also in spain…
I love Japanese onomatopoeia. The word fwa-fwa is the sound of gently falling snow (and apparently fabric softener as well).
