Wow. I usually have a TV dinner for lunch, but today I’m having Japanese!

Worst. Iron Chef. Episode. Ever.

I mean, flash freezing is great. I love peas, and things never would be the same if I had to eat mushy peas out of a can.

Thank God - I saw the picture and was afraid their dish of the year was going to be turkey and gravy.

I can’t say I’ve ever seen frozen food in a Japanese supermarket but maybe you have to go to somewhere special, like Iceland (a British frozen food store.)

Frozen meals are available in all the main supermarkets in Tokyo near me. Granted the selection of same day prepared food is much greater but frozen is expanding.

Starting to get some interesting options available - though lots of them have meat so no good for me.
