Here’s my modest proposal: ignore it all. 50 years from now the same people will be fighting about the same issues over the same shitty piles of rocks that everyone and no one can claim historical right to, and the same leaders will be utterly uninterested in any solution because it would rob them of some measure of power. It’s an intractable situation that we lack the power to “fix”, and will only produce more misery and drain in resources the longer we indulge it. Get the fuck out and make them figure it out without us.
