JetBlue attendant doesn't like being stared back by Muslim women, calls police to take them off plane

Boarding a flight to LA from Tokyo tomorrow morning and realizing in the dozen or so times I’ve done so, no one has considered me a security threat even though my country vaporized two of their cities.

Today I Learned.

Ignoring the whole racism part, this bit confused me.

And? Whilst it would be mildly odd, what exactly would be wrong about recording the safety video?

I see your Franz Josef Wagner and I raise you Katie Hopkins and Melanie Phillips.

Well, it’s obvious isn’t it? IS leadership have never been on a plane, being really really strict Muslims, so they need the safety video to get ideas for points to attack. Wait for Trump to announce that when he’s President Muslims will only be allowed on planes wearing blindfolds.

You aren’t flying the plane.

They were in a, you know, aeroplane. They had been through security intended to remove knives. And they were in their seats.
But they could have solved the problem quite easily by wearing full burquas. Then the flight attendant wouldn’t have known she was being looked at.

The only thing I am saying is that I watched a story about the German one on the News, then read this post about three hours later. They both concern people wearing hijabs staring at uniformed persons, making them uncomfortable. I am not implying anything about the woman on the plane. I realize that the woman on the plane was very unlikely to have a knife. I am not saying that the incidents are connected in any way, except the staring part. I draw no larger conclusions about any of this.

I did not hear the story initially from BILD. I saw it on ZDF. After I read the BB story, I did a search for an English version of the story, and it came up. The details were substantially the same, except for the conclusions about motive.

Good to know, I’ll let you tell these people.

Mea culpa…

Well, all I’m saying is your posts don’t read well in this context. You might want to consider how they are coming across.

Or perhaps to say, ‘I just saved your life, fucker. Get me a trout.’

Max_Blancke-
From your article- ‘The attacker was ice cold. Her only worry was that her headscarf was rumpled and she wanted to put it straight. It was nothing to her if the police officer lived or died.’

I’m a Muslim living in the US, and my two cents on this is that this line clearly identifies the person as having a mental disorder of some kind. No normally-functioning 15-year old can think this way. And if I’m wrong, and this person and her family were radicalized by the crazy terrorists, please know that this is the exception and not the norm.

I understand that. I really was not saying anything about Muslims in general, or even the ladies on the plane. I only noticed two news stories, released at about the same time, that started with some sort of staring contest.

Not yet…bwahahahaha!!!

Well, to be fair, no white person has ever stared at police and then attacked them for no reason, at all, ever. [/sarcasm]

Aren’t you supposed to just ask questions at some point?

You do realise that the Daily Mail is the British equivalent of the Weekly World News, don’t you?

That’s not fair.

The Weekly World News is written in a spirit of fun, after all.
