Hope the piece has a source for the dolls pinned down. Otherwise, Oliver could be up for a surprise if it turns out that several shipping containers full of theses went overboard somewhere in the Pacific and now arrive at the beaches…

If these dolls come from sunken containers in the Pacific and are then washing up on the Texas Gulf of Mexico coast, then can’t they be captured as they go through the locks in the Panama canal. Or are they going via Cape Horn. /s
I seem to recall reading, possibly on this very web site, of a sunken container off the Atlantic coast of France disgorging Garfields for decades.
