At first glance I honestly thought it was a black man and a white woman.

That would have really pissed the bigots in SC off. They should have done that.

An interracial couple would have been actually inclusive and representative too.

The way it is going it seems this attempt at “inclusivity” just gives ugly talking points to racists.
