P.J. O’Rourke once said of Saudi Arabia that it looked enough like the surface of Mars to suggest that NASA might be overdue for an extensive technical audit. Having just cleaned my cat’s litter box, I notice a strong resemblance between the surface of the supposed Dimorphos and consumer-grade clumping clay cat litter. I’m not saying that NASA faked the DART impact with an iPhone 3 suspended over someone’s litter tray … but I’m not saying that they didn’t, either.
