First heard that in The Adventures of Buckaroo Banzai Across the 8th Dimension. That is what always comes to mind when I hear it. Not original to the film, but there we are.

My point! 
Apparently started as a religious meditation in the 1400’s and intermittently reappeared as such over the years, but it will always be Buckaroo to me.
