I guess that’s marginally better than posting a video in character as that serial killer from Seven, but not by much.

What in the actual fuck?

Yeah, I’m really with you on that one. :face_with_raised_eyebrow:

actually every major character I can think of him playing would be problematic - the guy from American Beauty, whoah let’s not go there The detective from L.A Confidential? Let’s keep it on the down-low and very hush-hush. Verbal Kint isn’t the most trustworthy guy, and you don’t want the Keyser Söze association…

Underwood might just have been the best person to respond with in his repertoire.

…unless that’s what he actually did…

He was probably playing Keyser Soze, playing Frank Underwood, to distract from the horrors of Kevin Spacey.

Acting!

He played Clarence Darrow once; you’d think he would be able to present a more convincing summation.

Why show sympathy for a predator?

I’m not pretending to understand his motivations but, most behaviour of this nature is in response to past trauma. Locking this guy in a cell won’t solve the problem that causes this reoccurring behaviour in society. I think like the European and Scandinavian cultures, we should make an attempt to rehabilitate people before incarcerating them indefinitely. I’m no stranger to making this argument from people who know me.

My wife has manic depression. I would like to get myself and my son away from her but there is no way to do that. I accept that her condition is likely a result of past trauma but I just don’t care. Saving my son from the same fate is my priority.

So why should I care about Kevin Spacey and his like?

Gfy Spacey. With all due respect, or the opposite of respect.

Because ignoring a problem is not in itself a solution. Look at the Justice System in America, notice how foreign governments aren’t coming from around the world to emulate our failures but, instead look at them as a sort of black box.

I am not ignoring the problem which I face. I have been trying to solve it on my own for fifteen years.

What I can’t figure out is, how can Frank Underwood put out a video, when he’s dead?
