Kickstarting Stuff and Nonsense, a steampunk card-game from Cheapass & Prof Elemental

How is this possible? I though that Cheapass went under a few years ago. Their games were kind of hit-or-miss, but I loved the concepts… “Before I kill you Mr. Bond.” and government cheese for brains. Great memories…

That is not dead which can eternal lie.
And with strange Kickstarters even death may die.

Cheapass more “went print and play” than “went under”, and they’re obviously so right for a net-based Kickstarter-driven business that I don’t consider them to have “gone” so much as “been ten years before their time”. Which they have now caught up to.

And yes, great memories.

For my money, James Ernest is the most cheerfully capable small-game designer out there. (I particularly love his real-time card games; Brawl was a personal favourite and Falling is always fun.)
