Oh no, is there anyone else qualified for the job!?

Get your prostates checked, folks. You’re not royalty, your healthcare won’t be at the same level.

The running joke was that the Queen would outlast him and it seems she only missed by a little.

It’s been a while since he’s been readily connected to homeopathy, has it not?

Not that an extremely public failure of such “treatments” is likely to impact their popularity at this point.

ETA: It has not been a while.

No doubt some are already contemplating that this is a hoax and he will use this as an opportunity to boost homeopathy when he is “cured”. But then, the royals tend to spark the imagination in curious ways.

Indeed, I might not like the guy and what he stands for, but… fuck cancer.

Edit for…

I know there’s reason why I haven’t. I just can’t quite put my finger on it.

I’m not really sure that this news deserves a live thread, Guardian?

Okay… Prince Harry is going to see his dad who just got a cancer diagnosis… you need a live thread for that?

That’s quite an editorial choice for The Guardian

I suppose we’re lucky it’s just the Guardian.
If it was the Daily Mail, then Harry is the cancer!

eta: and he invented all cancers ever, no backsies…

That’s a bit post-watershed — how about “Sod Cancer”?

Apparently this is quite common. They run you through an MRI for one condition, and the radiologist spots a different problem elsewhere in your body.

My doctor refers to these as incidentalomas.
