Lmao. I get it. You worked hard on being angry and your theories about how
this “really went down” that any new info that contradicts your position
must be explained away. Got it, hope your day is well
If you ever do, pics please!
and vice versa?
Something subconsciously must have triggered you to think of Bill Cosby here … perhaps all of the talk about sweaters.
Don’t forget the pressure to be “the cool one” by coworkers and persons in your enforced circle in order to avoid further problems in the future.
Her being okay in a statement doesn’t mean trashy disrespect should be encouraged.
I always thought LA local news stations did their weather segments using porn stars in the middle of a scene. … and for tonight’s [umpf uh uh uh] weather we’ve got clear skies [grunt], temps hovering near 60, humidity [umpf] 55%…
Orange County is not LA. The City of Los Angeles is in the County of Los Angeles. 10 million people, about 4000 square miles, and not a one of them in Orange County.
Orange County is next door, but it’s not “LA” any more than New Jersey is “New York.” I realize that Coyote Creek isn’t quite as obvious a boundary as the East River Hudson River, but still…
(Ed. to add - darn east-west dyslexia! Really a nuisance for a map nerd like me. <sigh>)
Orange County is a longtime bastion of California conservativism, home of the John Birch Society, oddly tweaked by conservative support for the Vietnamese “boat people”, which led to large-scale immigration of various Asian cultural groups over the last several decades.
Still pretty uptight conservative, though.
But totes happy to swap wives and have orgies every weekend.
once again, just because someone says something doesn’t mean you have to do or say anything.
OC doesn’t have their own stations and rely on the stations in L.A. That’s where many conservatives live, but there are many in suburbs in L.A. County that are full of evangelicals, too.
eta: But as someone who has lived on both sides of Coyote Creek, I love the reference.
Well, hey, it IS still Southern California, after all. Bound to be some hedonists in the mix somewhere. (-:
Oh, to be sure, OC is in KTLA’s service area, and I didn’t mean to suggest otherwise.
I was just responding to the phrase “Orange County LA”, noting that, however you slice it, OC isn’t LA.
It’s a different place, both physically and culturally.
Oh, I agree. It’s funny you mentioned the creek because I think the driving is different on the sections of freeways in L.A. County and O.C., and one notices this when crossing Coyote Creek.
THIS, 110%.
No matter what the topic may be, there are way too many people who act as though those are the only reactions available, and that’s very irksome.
I can think that something is unfair or ill advised without being “enraged” about it.
There’s a middleground that people who lean toward extremes often seem to miss.
That’s totally my “agenda” when shooting the shit online; I’m making a real, quantifiable difference, with each and every keystroke!

Ooooh…too soon, dude!
Why the worry over social justice warriors?
Those who oppose them selected this name, meaning those in opposition are Social Injustice Warriors.
I would think there are many worse things to fight for than social justice…
The MRAs and sock puppets are coming in force. Must be a good post.
Don’t they call themselves the “…of Anaheim” these days?
