β€œTerrorizing us for years.” What? These were the dumbasses who kept coming to Portland from all over the country to beat people. When the community showed up to beat back, that’s β€œterrorizing!?!” WTF are they proud of? That they didn’t pee their pants immediately?

So much for the tolerant Nazis!

Forgiato means forged (as in iron), so no idea what forged cocaine is about, unless we’re going to go for the fake meaning?

Rupert Murdoch has largely lost a year-long dispute with the BBC after he objected to a documentary series that β€œimplied he posed a threat to liberal democracy”.

Murdoch’s News UK business complained that a BBC Two documentary unfairly suggested the Australian-born media mogul β€œexercised malign political influence” through his ownership of news outlets. It said the BBC programme was biased and failed to give enough weight to more positive appraisals of Murdoch’s career.

Sad thing is they did a number on a bystander from what I remember seeing on Twitter. They assaulted one person and dragged them from their truck and heavily damaged it among other horrible acts. It’s clear the northwest has a fascist problem (and has had it for many years from what I’ve read going back to the 30s and earlier). It’s clear that the current mayor and police chief refuse to do anything about it but would rather hyperfixate on some black bloc folks who rarely do much beyond a few blocks around a federal court house (the 2020 protests). But they seem fine with allowing fascists to roam the streets bashing in heads of bystanders.

For the most part, Portland’s current fascist problem is imported. The PBs travel to Portland from all over the country to do this. There are a handful from Vancouver, WA, but most do this as some kind of sick holiday.

The risk of political violence is increasing

β€œThe Census results … make me nervous. The data indicate that the white population of the United States continues to dwindle toward the days in which white Americans become a minority. I’m OK with this, but a lot of people aren’t, and some of them have guns, and those people have a network of politicians and an entire media ecosystem that encourages them.” β€” Charles P. Pierce, Esquire

This man was briefly one of the most respected people in America (undeservedly but still).

Surely they’re going to revoke his lounge membership and gold club member status.

In the current political climate that would only inspire the MAGA crowd to hold mass demonstrations exercising their God-given right to public grooming in dining establishments.

Extremely relevant. A 80’s and 90’s throwback: Embarrassingly bad raps.

Right? Giuliani was a terrible mayor.

β€œBut he stopped crime!” – not really. The police just flagrantly violated civil rights, bullied vulnerable populations, and spent more time on victimless or petty crimes rather than serious felonies. His actions also made 9/11 worse and directly led to many first responders unnecessarily dying. It was his directive to place New York’s new Office of Emergency Management (OEM) into building 7 of the WTC complex – the same complex one that had been bombed just a few years prior. The OEM was using the antenna on tower 1 for all communication. When tower 1 was hit, all communications were severed and building 7 was severely damaged basically putting the OEM out of commission. He also was responsible for buying malfunctioning radios for the FDNY that failed so miserably that first responders had to go back to the using the same old outdated analog equipment during 9/11 that had failed them so spectacularly during the 1993 bombing. This no doubt caused firefighters to die because they couldn’t receive communications.

But hey, he could string together coherent sentences and was able to inspire some folks after 9/11 with strong words of encouragement so he gets to become America’s Mayor?

Nah, he’s always been shit.
