conservatives want to blame “outsiders” when the only real way to protect children is to empower them with the knowledge that they can talk about this stuff when they feel uncomfortable about or are attacked by otherwise trusted adults

I was groomed by my small town library having an old man that taught people how to take apart old electronics and rebuild them and repair them. My parents still claim I “randomly” decided to become an engineer in high school.
