JFC. I’ve been there and used to live nearby. This would be so annoying.
And not that anyone here needs a recap, but:
Demonstrate for social and economic equality: get brutalized by LEOs
Violently overtake the Capitol: get escorted to safety and maybe followed up with arrest.
Be a fucking asshole at a funeral: no legal repercussions.
Have a snowball fight in a DC snowstorm: an off-duty LEO can pull a firearm on the crowd with no legal repercussions.
Do this outside a pizza place: meh
Walk/sleep/drive/shop while Black: it’s a roll of the dice.
We have so far to go.

I was really looking forward to seeing Bannon rot in prison instead of just rotting wherever he chose to be.
I’d accept “testifying against Trump during the Senate trial” as a consolation prize though.
