I just noticed that the Residents are touring and will be in Denver a few months from now. Haven’t seen them in…35 years?

(All assuming that we are not Delta-shutdown of course)

I’m not sure that ‘love’ is the word I would use to describe my feelings after seeing this video, but I absolutely love this!

For me this is a genre piece that eschews music and film conventions… ironically “genre” - the best kind - the only kind - top of the pops kind!

Musically it has a good beat and you can dance to it (albeit in a morbid fashion) brilliant!

Are any of the original Residents part of the current lineup??

Impossible to know, really, given the history of the band. The only confirmed member, Hardy Fox, died in 2018 though.
