For the last 5 or 6 years I’ve been celebrating the end of one shitty year, and welcoming another, which, whatever it’s faults, can’t possibly be as bad as 201X.
I’ve finally learned my lesson. Now I’m going to bed early and hoping I sleep through the fireworks.
