In more positive news Trump’s own SCOTUS appointee just affirmed that Federal Civil Rights law applies to LGBTQ people, so that’s one point in the “win” column.

If the Evangelicals had any capacity for self-reflection or regret, this would be the time they realized the guy they sold their souls to endorse couldn’t deliver on the one thing they were promised (i.e. a Supreme Court that would rule their way on social issues).

They sold their souls a long time ago. When they jumped on the segregation bandwagon, then the fetus worship bandwagon, then the anti-gay bandwagon. Such social platforms only existed to get poor and working class people to vote against their economic interests.
If they were capable of self-reflection they would not be Evangelicals
