Also sorta topical, Chris Rock’s stage voice is very different from his natural voice.
His Terry Gross/Fresh Air interview from the early aughts is a sizable example of his ordinary voice.

I remember him being interviewed by Max Headroom and breaking into a spot on impression of James Mason as well IIRC him using his real voice

Having listened to MANY eps of his long-running podcast, where he clearly uses his genuine/true voice, this sounds like BS to me. Not sure if it’s a joke or what, but it does not sound like GG’s “real” voice.
