I read the comic earlier today and thought this was just a funny coincidence - it’s fun to know it was a deliberate reference. This was one of those songs that floated around everywhere on the internet 20 years ago, popping up in forum threads and animutations, weaving itself irremovably into the grey fleshy wrinkles.
