Isn’t the notion of being “innocent” of sexual implications kind of sex-negative?
“Yes, I am guilty and ‘dirty’ because I am a person, and like people things!”

Lovage went down this very same road.

NSFW… maybe? Depending on where your head is at.

AsI recall, “pussy” has an older meaning of “soft and nice to touch” in English, hence pussywillow, pussycat, perhaps (because I ain’t sure if the genital meaning came from that, or came from that animal), vulva/vagina. I was once startled when reading a children’s book by E. Nesbit from a tad over a century ago when I came across one of the kids describing touching an animal as “so nice and pussy!”(Or something like that). Straight to the dictionary, I.

I think so, although it may have been The Story of the Amulet.

The last book in the series- and IIRC, I read them out of order-but enjoyed them both very much.

Please post!
