Follow up story:
In a tragic development, The Louisville Metro Police Department was tonight found dead at its home. Investigators say that the department shot itself several times in the back with a double-barrelled shotgun, and are not looking for suspects at this time.

I don’t understand American policing. Police fired for cause in one jurisdiction often are hired in another. There’s a US National Sex Offenders website that lets you search across all American states and territories but no national registry of police that have egregiously violated their sworn oath of service. WTF?
