It’s something but the officers that murdered her are still free.
Honestly, seriously shocked that the officers on scene didn’t “find” any drugs at her home. That’s standard procedure from what I can discern about these cases.
One of the 3 officers was fired (and is appealing it), none have been charged with her murder
More of the same lies about “Reforms”
Until the settlements start coming out of the police department budget, nothing will change.
Too little for a life taken and a potential cover up. Breonna’s family can not begin to heal until the officers are arrested and stand trial.
The people of Louisville are paying the people of Louisville for the murder of one of the people of Louisville. That’ll show 'em!
Settlements with no charges are not justice.
Truly. Not a single one of the reforms in the settlement defund the police in any way. Most increase their funding or increase reliance on policing. #abolitionnow
