When I watched Blade Runner, one of the things I considered is that I’d be around Bryant’s age in 2019. A sobering thought, whether or not the dystopia came to pass.
Walsh was a Hollywood stalwart. The industry is poorer without him.
I read the headline and instantly pictured that final pov shot under the sink.
Roger Ebert: “no movie featuring either Harry Dean Stanton or M. Emmet Walsh in a supporting role can be altogether bad.”

One of my favorite actors in one of my favorite bits in Raising Arizona:
MACHINE SHOP
BUD: “Anyway, we’re approachin’ the wreck, and there’s a spherical object a-restin’ on the highway…”
He pauses to blow and pop a bubble with his chewing gum.
BUD: “So here comes Bill a-walkin’ down Nine Mile - that’s Bill Parker, y’understand - got his sandwich in one hand, the fuckin’ head in the other…”
