Oh, as far as I can see, their understanding of Christianity is about as bad as their understanding of Norse Paganism.
What we’ve seen is that they have such a deep and abiding fragility about their religion that they’ll accept any number of 12th Night events, and College of Saint whatever and crosses on everything, but you put up one “Chag Sameach” or “Happy Diwali” or “Ramadan Kareem” on the socials, and suddenly “But we’re not supposed to be about religion why are you bringing religion into it? Wah wah”
Crosses on everything is fine. Thor’s Hammers are fine. Everything else is woke.
This. I expend enough emotional labour on people I think will understand my point, to do so for someone who is starting from a place of me not being worthy of human rights because of who I am is just asking me to spiral into the void. It’s not a trans person’s job to educate the ignorant, we are too busy trying to make it through the day in a world ruled by those who want us to stop existing.
