Magical History Tour

Wow, that story has it all. The ignorance of history and stubborn unwillingness to learn about or acknowledge harm done to people considered to be “other” runs deep. Wrapping it up in patriotism is from the old playbook that led to idolizing many historic figures, and that practice needs to stop. I’ve been glad to see the current backlash against monuments to “mad,” mediocre, and/or malevolent men during the Fed-Uprising this year.

I’m in PA where we have lots references to the General Wayne - towns, restaurants, etc. This makes me wonder how many schools teach the whole story about the man and his deeds:
