I’d say fire extinguishers are an excellent use case for the theatrical door-to-door hard sell—something that we’re all really gonna want after it’s way too late to go pick one up at Walmart
I’d even forgive someone making an MLM out of it
by jove, given inflation, i could be making 10,000 dollars a month now. sign me up!

I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again: if you’re gonna get into MLM, make sure it’s selling drugs.
Insulin?
That’s a nice place you got there. Be a shame if it burned down.
This aspect of the product actually strikes me as the most unethical angle of the whole thing: apparently the ‘Presto’ was chlorobromomethane based, so probably pretty punchy for its size(though featuring a number of other personality defects for which the various halogen-based fire extinguishing agents were largely abandoned, including decently zesty toxicity in humans); but it is still dangerously small for any fire where you’d actually want specialized equipment, rather than a damp cloth and a contemptuous look, which makes it little more than an inducement stand closer, longer, to a dangerous fire than you ought to.
There’s a reason why fire extinguisher instructions and training, at least for the ones aimed at the public rather than specialists, puts a lot of emphasis on the ‘recognizing futility and having an exit strategy’ side of extinguisher operations.
Wish I’d thought of this before I blew it all on spooky birds on sticks.

Whoa, steady on. You don’t wanna step on those guy’s toes. Stick to trafficking narcotics. Much safer and more ethical.
