$410K, that’s it? Seems like a slap on the wrist. Dude ran 16 companies (for obfuscation purposes, obviously), he must have had a reasonably substantial user base. All of that intra-app functionality had to have been developed by at least a few other developers, not just himself. He must have been making more money than that.
I fucking hate nerd mercs. Technology is dystopian enough as it is without people selling stuff tailor-made for common punch-down scenarios that are awful enough without IT enabling efficiencies.
I’m not sure if they’re more or less destructive; but ethically they seem even slimier than the ransomware or BEC guys; not that those don’t deserve to be set of fire as well.
