Great share! Looking forward to spending a good bit of time reading. I’d heard he had a lot of double deals - both on him and by him - and wondered about some of the details.
From my limited experience of dealing with people with serious money/business contracts, a lot of wealth/value is purely on paper.

So, has there been any deep-dive into The 7th Portal in the intervening years…?
This was fascinating to me, because I saw Stan Lee do panels at comic conventions over the years and it was very obvious to me that everyone loved the 50 minutes he’d talk about Marvel stuff, and they good-naturedly sat through the other 10 minutes of supposed projects with his other companies, and nobody had the slightest interest in buying product from that stuff. They just accepted that him going on for 10 minutes of nonsense about his exciting non marvel upcoming projects was just the price of admission.
Exactly! Yet somehow those companies generated a lot of wealth for a handful of people (under what circumstances)
